Entering the Occupational Training and Development Program
To become a student in the Occupational Training and Development Program, you must first apply and be admitted as an undergraduate student at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (see the university's admission site).
While applying, you can indicate that you're interested in a major within the College of Education.
Once enrolled, you should plan to meet with your College of Education academic advisor every semester. At one of these meetings during your freshman or sophomore year, you will get an unofficial degree plan. This plan will provide a general guideline of the courses you will need.
Around the time of your junior year, you will meet with your academic advisor to officially declare your degree. During this meeting you will complete paperwork and your academic advisor will assign you a faculty advisor. You will work with both advisors to form an official degree plan.
