The Department of Special Services offers degree programs in bilingual education, eductional technology, occupational training and development, and special education. For more information on these degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, follow the links at left.
The Department of Special Services also offers several different types of certification. Initial certification allows you to become a certified teacher in Texas. Supplemental certification and professional certification allow teachers who are already certified to add areas of expertise to their teaching. This department offers courses toward certification in the areas listed below:
Initial educator certification
