Dean's List Reception

At the beginning of each fall and spring semester, the College of Education holds a special reception to recognize the high-achieving students who made the previous semester's Dean's List. Students are invited to enjoy refreshments with Dean Art Hernandez and other faculty and staff. Dean's List students receive the current year's Dean's List t-shirt. If you miss the reception, you can stop by the College of Education lobby anytime afterward to pick up your t-shirt (the sooner you come, the better chance we'll have your size available).

We realize that parents must be at least as proud of their Dean's List students as we are, so we've started offering a "Proud Parent" t-shirt to help them show off. We offer these for sale to Dean's List students at the discounted price of $5. We periodically update the sizes and colors, so if we don't have what you need, check back.

To qualify for the Dean's List, you must be an undergraduate student who earned a 3.65 GPA or higher during a semester with a full course load. Make sure to keep your mailing address current in university records (SAIL), because this is the address we use to mail your invitation.

Fall 2009 Shirts Available

The Fall 2009 Dean's List Reception has already taken place, but we have some remaining shirts. If you made the Dean's List anytime during the 2008 / 2009 academic year and missed your shirt, you can come pick it up in FC 201.
