Martin J. Ward, Ph.D., Professor of Education, joined the faculty of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in August 1999 and became chair of the Department of Teacher Education in 2005. He has a varied background in education, including elementary and secondary teacher certification, high school teaching and counseling, high school and college coaching, and with teacher education at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Ward's scholarly interests are focused on aspects of teacher education, multicultural education, special education, and coaching.
