LTC Ramirez continues to serve in the United States Army Reserve with prior assignments that include Commander, HHD, 467th QM Bn; Commander, 812th QM Co, Commander, 288th QM Co; Aide de Camp, 90th Army Reserve Command; Operations Officer, 467th QM Bn, Secretary to the General Staff, 90th Regional Support Group; Executive Officer, 467th QM Bn; and Commander, 467th QM Bn. He currently serves as Executive Officer, 211th Regional Support Group. LTC Ramirez s a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom having served in Kuwait as the Executive Officer, 467th QM Bn between April 2003 and March 2004.

LTC Ramirez is a graduate of the Quartermaster Officers Basic and Advanced Courses, the US Army Combined Arms Services and Staff School (CAS3) and Command and General Staff Officer Course (CGSC). His military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, the Army Commendation Medal with 4 oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, the National Defense Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, and the Global War on terrorism Service and Expeditionary medals.

Nature, Scope, and Extent of Responsibilities:

Serve as an Assistant Professor of Military Science and ROTC Battalion Executive Officer for an ROTC battalion over 40 registered cadets. Responsible for quality control and supervision, coordination of battalion operations in the areas of suspense action supervision and management, instruction of students as called upon, supply management oversight, cadet enrollment and administration oversight, training planning and management oversight, augmentation of recruiting operations, personnel and physical security oversight. Responsible for providing sound academic and military science advise and mentorship to staff and cadets. Assist in cadet retention and preparations for developmental camps to include Leadership Training Course and Leadership Development and Assessment Camp.

Ramirez graduated from Texas A&M University with Bachelors in Business Administration-Management in 1983. He is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas and is married with three children.
