Get a scholarship for beginning graduate school

If you have started or will start a TAMU-CC graduate program in either Summer 2016, Fall 2016, or Spring 2017 semesters, you can receive $1,000 per semester (Summer I, Summer II, Fall, Spring) via a New Graduate Student Scholarship, in addition to the Graduate Studies Scholarship and any other financial aid you may be receiving.

You must meet these criteria for the New Graduate Student Scholarship:

  • Be a US citizen
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in your last 60 hours
  • Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the overall summer or during the long fall/spring semesters
  • Fill out the graduate application of admission, which serves as your scholarship application

How to apply to the New Graduate Student Scholarship:

  • Simply apply to your graduate program of choice at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Your admission application serves as your application for the New Graduate Student Scholarship.
  • The scholarship deadline is the same as the deadline of the program you are applying to.

If you qualify for the above new student scholarship, still fill out the Graduate Studies Scholarship application, since receiving one does not exclude you from receiving the other.
